Yeah it isn't as bad as SFV was. The way I understand it though is that they have 9+ characters that don't already come with the $60 version. Three of those characters are ready now, but you have to buy the version of the game that is $80. So the real price of Injustice 2 on release is $80. I don't expect the metascore to hold that high for very long with corperate shenaningens like that.

Meh. This kind of art direction is not my cup of tea, I just don't dig the hyperrealistic tone Netherrealm has followed since the original Injustice. Yet I somehow like the MK9 art direction and character design, and I wouldn't be able to say what's the difference between them.

You understand it wrong.

They've announced the first set of their 9 DLC characters, which are part of the season pass/ultimate edition, but those characters aren't available now, nor will they be for probably about a month, if they follow the same sort of release schedule they had for MKX.

Multiverse sounds real neato. I know the FGC don't care about single player content, but this is great for consumers.

Too bad I don't care for MK gameplay.
