A survival horror set in a city. Basically a virus begins turning people into zombies. You are there from the begining and you have to survive in your environment making efficient use of everything around you.

For example you have to build a zombie proof shelter, which you can survive comfortably in. When you run out of food you you have to venture out into the city to gather food and water avoiding zombies. Weapons and ammo are rare and you have to work hard to find it. You can find survivors and invite them to live with you or just fend for yourself.

There is no end to the game it carries on like the sims or animal crossing. You just have to survive as long as possible trying to improve the situation. You can also decide to try and wipe out the zombies or just attempt to avoid them, killing them only when neccesary.

What do you think? would you buy it?

sounds good, but there would have to be lots of variables togive the player a reason to keep coming back to the game after they have a reached a point where they have mostly succeeded.

Sounds cool. I'd buy it if it were well executed. It actually reminds me of this flash game for the PC, The Last Stand a bit. Try it out. It's some good fun.

It sounds like a really good idea, I'm kind of surprised no company has made a sandbox game based on survival horror.

....isn't this like, Resident Evil or something?

Sounds a bit like I Am Legend. That movie was pretty decent, I think I'd buy a game like that.
