Forums - Nintendo - Bandai Namco reconfirms its Switch games, seemingly planned for coming fiscal year

Following the Nintendo Switch Presentation in January, Bandai Namco announced three games for Switch. These included new entries in the Tales of and Taiko Drum Master franchises as well as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

We haven’t heard about any of these titles since they were originally mentioned in January. However, in its latest financial report, all three surfaced once again. Additionally, while not absolutely confirmed, it seems as though they’re all planned for the coming fiscal year.

It’s unclear which Tales of and Taiko Drum Master games Switch will be receiving. Hopefully it won’t be too long until Bandai Namco provides official details.

Today Bandai Namco confirmed a version of One Piece Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition to Switch, maybe we can expect other Bandai Namco games for the switch as well.

New Tales of Game? It really seems like they've been pumping them out these past years!

Always excited for tales of. Here is hoping it is good like my favorites Vesperia and Symphonia

New tales? Or current new ports from PS3/PS4?

Find out soon i guess.

Well, so far it has been all ports so I'm guessing a port.

Like Berseria or something.

Be great if a new Tales game, but not holding my breath right now. Looks like they are testing the waters of the Switch with ports right now.

I hate when 3rd parties do that. Port some 2-3 year old game and then when it doesn't sell well they blame the console base as not wanting their game. You know, cause clearly no switch owners could have possibly played/owned that game already on another system.

I might get both these games announced though. Always wanted to try these Xenoverse games, love the Tenkaichi games. Reason never got the Xenoverse is same reason I am not getting Injustice 2. Always so much dlc stuff coming out later, or pre-order, ect that I feel like I'm getting an incomplete game. I'm assuming this xenoverse 2 is complete edition of some sort. It's been out a while right?

I already had Ultimate red, so I'll ahve ot see what is deluxe about it. If it's just costumes, I'll probably pass. Though I do enjoy those games immensely and the thought of portability is nice. So we'll see.

As for tales ports. I'd like a Zestiria port. I've heard its not the best, but already played Berseria and loved that, so kind of want ot play its "sequel" Well Berseria was a prequel, so not sure how to call Zestiria. Best would be them packaged together obviously. But guessing size would eb too big.

Berseria would be fine in my book, haven't played it.

I don't mind ports, as long they are not years old.

Not really from 2010 to now we only got 4,  Tales of Xillia 1-2 and tales of Zestiria-Berseria     they are basically making two games for one universe. :s.
