I think Germany had a horrible song

You think Portugal's song was great. You know nothing.

And okr is right that it is crap. There's hardly ever a song that makes you think that you'd like to listen to the whole thing again and the majority of the songs are garbage bin material that makes you wish that the limit for song length should get reduced from three minutes to two minutes.

this is what Portugals song is like:

(lady and the tramp pic, romantic sitting eating comfort food, and sneaking a kiss)

Its just honest music, without gimmicks, or flashy costumes, danceing, sex appeal, fireworks, props, ect.

The song spoke for itself, because he sung it well.

and yes the German song was kinda horrible (so was the danish song).

Ive lived abroad and speak pretty decent english, and Im usually a harsh critic when it comes to pronounciations, but you need more than that.

The danish song was so damn boreing, I still cant really tell you what the lyric (song) was about, it went in 1 ear and out the otherside.

German song was like that too, boreing and lacking.

Italy's song was what the book makers thought would win.... after listening to it, I was like "why do they think that?".

Im surprised it did as well as it did.

Portugal was my favorite of the show and it won.

I really liked : Moldova, belgium, Romania's, Austria's.

Decent ones (below the above) : norways, australia, azerbaijan, belarus, netherlands.

Yoodle Girl, or Epic Sax guy.... didnt win, and Im not even mad.

Portugals song was good.

so glad the most quality song won, I really didn't expect the public to support it, especially taking into account the US crap we are forced to listen almost everywhere

the judges suck, they totally killed Belgium and put cheappy Sweden too high, good that the public recognized Belgium song even without a visually intense performance

Bulgaria was professional, I also liked Romania

Moldova was fun but over ranked obviously  (epic sax guy was worth it :P)

great ESC year overall, despite the low number of good songs, in terms of production, results and presenting it was so good

Hahahah... yeah I was like "models on a treadmill" song  (swedens) :p

Belgium's song was my fathers favorite, and I was pretty sure it would end up top5, when I first heard it.

Yoodle girl was epic (romania).

Bulgaria song was overrated imo. Surprised it got that many points.

This was messed up, not that it is anything new. Romania got snubbed, that's for sure.

Austria was the only country which didn't get any points from the audience vote. The audience got it right, the jury people must have been drunk because the majority of juries handed out points for Austria. This is quite the opposite from last year when the juries were negative, but the audience positive.

Germany having a bad result surprised me this year because the song was actually decent, unlike in previous years. Must be Europe's disdain for Germany's politics.

I could complain that Portugal won, but when their biggest competition (Bulgaria) had a clearly worse song, then meh...

Germany's song had a theme that was copy-pasted from Titanium by David Guetta and Sia, hence why nobody voted for them.

Imho Sweeden was overrated and Norway was underrated

Thank you Europe!

Estamos muito felizes com a vitória do Salvador ;)

Jesus, Amar Pelos Dois is horrible. Typical by-the-numbers sappy piano ballad.

Norway underrated huh?

they received 129 points from jurys

and 29 points from televotes, 16 of those from other scandinavian countries

the song was overproduced and dull

Yeah, it is not horrible but I'm annoyed that it won. Turn on any lounge web radio and chances are high something very similar will be played.

Nah it was fine, it had a good rhythm and was catchy in a good way, plus I enjoyed the style of the masks and stuff
