Sony has a boatload of exclusives to show gameplay for and plenty more to announce from unknown studios. I think it's been well documented about sonys third year and how many games they announce and drop within that period.

Most of their studios we already know what games they are working on so I expect Sonys E3 to be full of anticipated already announced first party games and big third party games like destiny, cod, rdr2 with a few exciting announcements. Can't wait to see more God of War and see gameplay of TLOU2 so it should still be very good.

Sony still has to show what sucker punch and other studios are working on. Yes, they will have a very packed show with known and unknown titles. They might even hold back some games for the PlayStation experience to keep the hype going.

I predict that most people will pick the company they like best as the winner of E3, usually based on the criteria of, "I like their games more." Conversely, they'll call the other conferences "boring" and "terrible" because they had games they didn't like as much. After that, they'll argue that their opinions are factually correct because they have the only perspective that matters.  Youtube views will be called in as evidence.

*SNIP*

This, though I do suppose I am a Nintendo fan. Then again, I thought the last two E3 presentations by Nintendo were pretty garbage, and I was personally impressed by E3 2015 from Sony. As such, I have committed a grave act of apostasy and must repent for my traitorous deeds and blasphemous thoughts. :P :P :P

I'm still drawing a lot of question marks from Nintendo for their first-party studios. The droughts in 2015 and 2016 still aren't explained by the currently announced games for Switch + 3DS.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

1.Nintendo
2.Sony
3.Microsoft

unexpected announcement:-more than one new ip for xbox , metroid

Sony as usual, but that's an opinion... and you're asking to predict opinions.

I think Microsoft has the potential to be the worst despite showing a new console. My fear is that they will not have a sizeable line up of exclusives to go with it other than what they announced years ago, and some predictable ones like a new Forza and Halo. I'm afraid "4K" will be the most used term in the conference.

Nintendo also has the potential to disappoint:
-Xenoblade 2 looks like it started as a 3DS game, very low budget
-Time dedicated to potential ports like Smash 4, Mariomaker and Pokemon Stars
-Splatoon 2
-Rabbids Mario rpg
-Mario Odyssey
-A few predictable games like the Kirbies, Pikmins, Mario spinoffs etc to fill out the release schedule until spring/summer 2018

They lost the surprise factor so I'm going in with the least hype, then it cannot disappoint and only be better.

Sony: potential to be the best, it's not about being biased but they legit announced a shit ton of games last year and I'm excited to see more of them. There's just so much to look forward to, even from the 3rd party side.

Theres nothing to really fear about Microsoft doing better than Nintendo and Sony with exclusives. I think we're all hoping all of them do well, but the expectation with them is low. This leaves room for us to be surprised. Do you think we will get a port of the first Xenoblade? I missed the first game.

I think we might see a shit ton of ports from Nintendo sprinkled over the years: Mario Sunshine HD, Mario Galaxy 1+2, 3D World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Pokken, Zeruda Skywod Sowd etc

Winner - Sony, as always.
Looser - EA, as always. But, maybe, this time Microsoft's conference will boring too. I'm sure most part of that will be about Scorpio and 4k, not about games, not about new IP.

Microsoft will have a new IP for sure. They have to or their fight is pretty much over. The question is whether those exclusives will be good or not.  If not not Sony will trample them.
