Turkish said: I think Microsoft has the potential to be the worst despite showing a new console. My fear is that they will not have a sizeable line up of exclusives to go with it other than what they announced years ago, and some predictable ones like a new Forza and Halo. I'm afraid "4K" will be the most used term in the conference. Nintendo also has the potential to disappoint: -Xenoblade 2 looks like it started as a 3DS game, very low budget -Time dedicated to potential ports like Smash 4, Mariomaker and Pokemon Stars -Splatoon 2 -Rabbids Mario rpg -Mario Odyssey -A few predictable games like the Kirbies, Pikmins, Mario spinoffs etc to fill out the release schedule until spring/summer 2018 They lost the surprise factor so I'm going in with the least hype, then it cannot disappoint and only be better. Sony: potential to be the best, it's not about being biased but they legit announced a shit ton of games last year and I'm excited to see more of them. There's just so much to look forward to, even from the 3rd party side. |
Theres nothing to really fear about Microsoft doing better than Nintendo and Sony with exclusives. I think we're all hoping all of them do well, but the expectation with them is low. This leaves room for us to be surprised. Do you think we will get a port of the first Xenoblade? I missed the first game.

I think we might see a shit ton of ports from Nintendo sprinkled over the years: Mario Sunshine HD, Mario Galaxy 1+2, 3D World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Pokken, Zeruda Skywod Sowd etc
