Forums - Gaming - E3 2017 winners and losers predictions

Depends purely if the Mario-Rabbids crossover is true or not. If it's true, Nintendo automatically loses for me

Sony's overdue for an L, but I think they know what works and what doesn't for these E3 presentations. MS knows they need to step it up, but even if they have the content they'll stumble over their lack of finesse. Nintendo's a wild card.

As far as worst showing goes, leave it to EA, Bethesda, Ubisoft, or Activision. They always compete for 'worst.'

Think Nintendo will win because Switch just launched. And either Sony or MS will lose.

Sony has a boatload of exclusives to show gameplay for and plenty more to announce from unknown studios. I think it's been well documented about sonys third year and how many games they announce and drop within that period.

I'm going to say Sony will win, Nintendo will announce some good games and Microsoft will lose. Again, this is sonys third year so all of their devs should be near finished with their content.

I have a feeling that Sony and Nintendo can have some real good shows this year, while MS... I'm not so sure. They haven't been doing too hot this gen, so I'm starting to lose faith in them. They'll need to reveal a lot of new games to turn things around, as well as have them actually release...

Can't really say for Ubi and EA. I don't really watch their events, and when I did, I wish I didn't...

Not to come off as a negative nancy, but am I the only one who kinda finds it cringeworth when people say such company will "win" E3?

Like, obviously, one company is gonna have a better conference than another, but when we say "win" it's like we're treating E3 like the Superbowl or something, which I find kinda weird.

Anyways, Microsoft will have to show some big guns to help really push out Scorpio, Nintendo is all dependent if they can show off some kickass content for the Switch, and I don't doubt Sony will show off some cool looking stuff as well.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I can't even imagine what surprise games there could be.

I guess that would make them good surprises.

That was so philosophical.

I don't know, it's a definite toss-up between MS and Ubisoft for winner. My criteria for winner may be different than others, though. I enjoy laughs.

Sony will win E3, will win in sales, excitement and everything else. Their biggest console mistake was PS3 and that still sold over 80 million lol

Microsoft will win, bigly!

Crooked Sony, and failing Nintendo will lose. Sad!

Most of their studios we already know what games they are working on so I expect Sonys E3 to be full of anticipated already announced first party games and big third party games like destiny, cod, rdr2 with a few exciting announcements. Can't wait to see more God of War and see gameplay of TLOU2 so it should still be very good.
