Not sure how credible this is, but it does make sense. Also, that would make the Gamecube controller the longest supported console controller of all time AFAIK. Thoughts?

They all seem reasonable. I like the Wii U Pro controller support. The Switch Pro is so expensive and I can save money for a while. Background music is a must though.

I hope so. I have two GC adapters for WiiU and no WiiU, so it would help me save quite a bit on controllers. Also, if they do this, that means GC VC.

If Nintendo wants to support smash in the future on Switch, they kinda need GC support.

Nintendo already mentioned it during the reveal.

That'd be cool, though I wonder if the USB adapters for the GC controllers will be easier to get than they were for the Wii U.

Good, it would be such a waste to abandon the WiiU Pro controller so soon.

That would be neat to have, though doesn't the Switch dock only have 2 USB ports?
