For everyone who is saying that he had also somethings wrong. NO. The rumours were true. His opinnion was wrong. He thought always that nintendo will make a power horse. But he never said that he heard that from a source. He just said he thinks that it will be a amd machine.

Not that I believe the rumor, but thinking about it made me realize something. In cases like this when you have a 2 different iterations of the same series, the Switch can possibly give an additonal advantage.
Nintendo could potentially create a single game asset and utilize it in different games (let's say for example Samus and space pirates models and animations). This could actually be a great affordance that couldn't be achieved before due to the difference in hardware power and architecture between home consoles and handhelds.

| Darashiva said: I wouldn't be surprised to hear that a Metroid title is in development for the Switch, but two would be quite unusual considering the relative niche appeal of the franchise among Nintendo's bigger names. I guess it would be interesting if one of them was being developed in the west and the other in Japan. |
If true, I would assume one would be fore the 3DS and one for the Switch.
Or... There could be a Metroid Run/Go for mobile.
If they do another game in similar vein as Super Metroid, I would be all over that like flies to poop.
