System feels like a barren wasteland? Nintendo themselves have said multiple times that their machines are primarily there to play games. Switch is a GAMES console. If I want Netflix, browsing or other multimedia stuff, I can have it on my iPhone, iPad and laptop, like most people nowadays do.

MK8D seems like a 70 game? Really dude? Course diversity is off the charts, balance is quite good (bikes, karts, drifting, items) the game looks amazing (especially in the small Switch screen), and it packed full with content.

This whole post seems like a final cry on how Vita bombed. Guess what, no games, no purpose and no support from Sony. Especially the latter.

You know how I get around that? I never buy consoles at launch. The games ain't going anywhere. They'll still be there when the price goes down and all the problems get ironed out.

As for Mario Kart, I admit that I have little interest. From what I understand, a lot comes down to luck and that just does not sound like something I'd like in a racing game.

Well, it may have a little luck, but the bottom line is if you're better you have a higher chance of winning.

You say "u" as if it's one reviewer that gave Horizon an 89 and Mario Kart an 94, when in reality Metacritic uses a weighted aggregate.

Lets see I could make the same argument about my PS4.

It lacked features compared to the PS3 when it first launched.

This is why i haven't jumped in on the switch yet as I was dissapointed by the steps backwards the PS4 took to the PS3.

Give it time and shit will come out. Just like it did with the PS4.
