So, the game's multiplayer will have females in the game. I didn't really think of it as being a big deal, but from the looks of it there are some that are opposed to the idea. So, I decided to turn the discussion into a thread. So, what do you guys think about this? Is it a good decision? A bad decision? Are you indifferent?

Personally, I don't have a problem with it at all. The game is a work of fiction within the setting of WWII. The multiplayer battles are not meant to portray actual battles: instead they're mainly a way to create a competitive environment with a certain aesthetic. Thus, it's inevitably not going to be completely historically accurate. So, if there's women in the American forces in the game, I don't think that it should be somethnig to get worked up over.

It's unrealistic to the point of feeling like changing history, so I don't like it. I understand the decision but I just don't like it personally.

Don't really care either way... I mean cod's online isn't exactly realistic when you have 10 year olds fucking people's moms and having kill streaks allowing for air strikes and shit which is not how real warfare works.

That depends on if they're blonde or not.

Honestly, don't really care what they do in multiplayer. Hopefully their inclusion feels natural in the campaign though, like a French resistance fighter, rather than a token character.

I honestly wouldn't lose sleep in that case either...just a preference.

Edit: Didn't read the OP well...I see it's not about campaign anyway. *shrugs to the max*

But anyways, I'm pretty sure that the multiplayer will have regenerative health and and respawning, so right out of the bat it's going to be unrealistic and inaccurate.

At the same time. The setting they picked, could of easily been made up. So that a complaint like this, wouldn't form. I'm indifferent, to this.

Completely indifferent. It's on the multiplayer so it has even less weight.

I don't care. It's not a first in the franchise either as Ghosts had female characters too. as for the setting not making it realistic... there's a zombie mode for crying out loud.

I don't mind at all. Unrealistic? Probably, but a lot about these games are anyway. Is there a zombie mode? Anyone complain about how unrealistic that is?
