Clearly, a Democrat will win in Nov. 2020. My guess is either Elizabeth Warren or Andrew Cuomo. The question will be, are we gonna be better off with that person as president, or worse?

More of the same but different. I the next Demcratic candidate to talk about open-borders, accepting large amounts of refugees, putting social issues above all else, higher taxes for the rich and middle class, lower taxes for the poor, more welfare spending, continuing the Obamacare platform, and maybe even taxing the oil and gas companies to bancruptcy instead of proposing federal funds to massively decrease emmisions from their plants.

Also expect Repubicans to more or less unanimously reject every proposal from the Democrats side. Also if the democrats want to win they need to get their heads out of the ostrich hole and back a better canidate than say Elizabeth "I'm Native American" Warren, please no more of the old guard. They've had to learn something from the 2016 elections...right?

This

Came in the thread expecting an objective review.

He's been bad at most things, but saying the failure of the travel ban was self-inflicted is pretty dumb.

The democrats have opposed absolutely everything he's done without even thinking. Blocking Gorsuch, when they'd previously been fine with him, showed the level of behaviour we're dealing with.

That doesn't mean Trump hasn't been bad. He has so far. But the reaction to him which can only be described as mass hysteria and paranoid delusion, certainly doesn't help.

And that's also not to say that the republicans wouldn't have been equally as bad with Clinton. They probably would have. The insane polarisation at the moment is just a massive problem, and that's something that preceded Trump. The US has so many big divisions right now. What's needed is a massive decrease in the importance of the presidency and a bigger focus on the states.

It's a massive joke.

I can't believe people are laughing at Trump's failed attempt to go after sanctuary cities. You should get mad at the court instead.

What Sanctuary cities are doing to Americans is a crime no matter which side you associate yourself with.

A new thread from the guy who believed that a vote for Trump is indefensible. If you lack the objectivity to recognize that Trump's opponent was Clinton, then you will have a hard time constructing a good argument for anything that has to do with politics.

This explains why the OP's format is heinous to look at with open eyes.

Yeah the whole sanctuary city thing is bizarre. I don't think there's any other country on earth where 1 of the political parties has essentially decided that illegal immigration is fine. It's utterly insane.

Why the hell should anyone bother with the legal immigration if that's the way it is? Everyone around the world just rock up in beverly hills and just settle in.

It's just fundamentally impossible to have any public services if you don't control immigration, because you'll have no control over how much money is being paid in VS being taken out.

Because we won't get taxed to death.

You aren't a billion dollar company though.

Don't have to be. Democrats hate the middle class. Take a good look at California and how all the middle-class families are leaving.

Lol all of the climate change deniers live in the middle of the country. You didn't think that one through!

The people who are "really" in control is bragging about it as well, take a look at this recently issued Time magazine cover:

What.

The.

Actual.

Fuck.

Not to mention, the 12 million number is from 2006. It got much higher by 2012 (the year in which this cover was issued) and I am pretty sure it's even higher now.
