Well Houston played good for almost 3 quarters the game could have been a lot closer if Capela would have done something besides rebounding. They pretty much followed my advice and rested most of the starters in the 4th but they probably should have cleared the bench a bit sooner.

Well, just 2 wins away from a fourpeat in the finals.

I had hope for the Rockets, but that 4th quarter, damn.

The last time we had two game sevens in the semi finals was almost 40 years ago:

The league was a lot different then there where only 22 teams, the merger with the remaining teams of the ABA was still recent. There still wasn't a three point line. The Rockets and the Spurs where still in the Eastern Conference. The Jazz was still in New Orleans and the Clippers where still in San Diego and the Kings where still in Kansas City and OKC where still the Seattle Super Sonic and the Nets where in New Jersey.

It brings more profit to NBA and drives more ticket sales by stretching series out to 6 or 7 games. Throw away away games and hold home court.

Not really, if it was rigged then whatever team LeBron was on would always win the title.

And we would get 7 game conference finals a lot more often.  Last time this occurred - both conferencr finals at 7 games - was over 40 years ago.  

No, it's just the west has some really strong teams to contend with GS and the Cacs are inconsistent as all crap.  Which has been the story all year.

Ok game 7s are usually scrappy cause everyone is tired but holy crap neither team can hit a 3pt shot for crap. And they keep leaning into it!
