Of course, MK8D launches tomorrow.

It's been in stock for weeks now. Not just recently. Just look at the comments as well - plenty of people have been getting it since over a month ago.

Well of course plenty of people are getting them, they're sold out everywhere in the US! There has definitely not been plenty of stock, unless you only count a few hours each time they are put on the shelves. I've still yet to see a Switch. But yeah it does seem like the next few days more stock should be available, but I wouldn't be surprised if it all sells out quickly with the MK launch.

Yes, Nintendo has been continually shipping out Switch's. Most people who work at retail (in US), have been saying since launch that they'll get a new shipment and than it will sell out by the end of the day or next.

I don't work at retail so I don't know how reliable that is. But from my personal experience I struggled to get a Switch since all my local stores would sell out of their stock while I was at work. It wasn't until Amazon (Canada) got a shipment on a Saturday that I was able to buy one. 

Well thank god, otherwise Nintendo could have shipped its amazing March numbers!

Target jumped the gun and started selling their shipment of Switchs as soon as they got them in so they probably dont have any left for MK8's release. Thankfully I got that knowledge in advance which allowed me to score a Switch from them! I hear there are people still looking for one since launch, so that I was able to get one after a couple days of searching is much fortunate!

Also pro tip to anyone trying to get one on Friday, get their early if you cam, like before the store even opens. People are probably aware of the restock by now so you'll likely have competition especially if you live in a highly populated area. If you wait until the afternoon it's very likely all their Switchs will be sold by then.

Still out of stock in Best Buy CA and Amazon, definitely will be hard to find the next couple of weeks

But why? The 5 that I saw were inside the store in electronics. Why would it be higher than the regular price.   I worked at walmart by the way
