Yes, Nintendo has been continually shipping out Switch's. Most people who work at retail (in US), have been saying since launch that they'll get a new shipment and than it will sell out by the end of the day or next.
I don't work at retail so I don't know how reliable that is. But from my personal experience I struggled to get a Switch since all my local stores would sell out of their stock while I was at work. It wasn't until Amazon (Canada) got a shipment on a Saturday that I was able to buy one.
