Nope. I'm happy with him so far. Of course, there's some stuff I wish he did differently but it's not anywhere near bad enough to change my perspective on him.

So you are cool with the evironment being ass raped.  I guess you don't have any kids or younger relatives you care about.

It's not being ass raped. Typical fear mongering hyperbole.   The environmental regulations don't give any substantial improvement or protection to the environment that could justify the negative effects it causes on our economy or jobs. I don't agree with throwing the potental livelihoods of millions of people under the bus for a change in pollution that's barely measureable. I'm all for the US moving towards clean energy and strong environmental protections but it has to able to sustain our quality of life and be practical. For example, just in my local area, they could dedicate some cops to enforcing the laws we already have by ticketing the hell out of people who litter on beaches and the waterways. That would have a big impact on the environment where I live.

I don't agree with unrealistic pipe dreams some hippies think of while smoking a pound of weed and "discussing" everything wrong with the US in some circle jerk echo chamber in california.

I could never regret voting Trump, as there was no alternative.

Sure like DAPL is adding thousands of job (which it isn't since most of the jobs are temporary).  Plus once that is finished it doesn't even benefit the US since most of the oil is going to be send overseas.

I can't say I'm entirely happy with Trump, although there are numerous I do like he has done.

You should only regret voting for Trump if you think Hillary would have been better. Those were our options, Hillary and Trump. We knew Hilary would have been bad, so we had to take a chance on Trump.

But didn't Hilary get more votes? So really the people didn't choose trump.

I'm not terribly up to speed on the electorial process in the USA though. But I assume people actually vote for electors, which can deviate from the peoples vote, certainly not the most elegant way to make democracy work, that's for sure.

Half right.  We do vote for electors but for most part the electors did vote for who they was suppose to.  The way it work is each of the 50 states gets a certain number of electors base on the state population.  There some exceptions but for the most part who ever get the most votes in a state get all the electors vote in that state.

The way Hillary could win the popular vote but loose the election is in a lot of states Trump won by a small margin.  In a few states with huge popluation Clintion won by huge margins.  In most states winning by 1 vote or a million votes gets you the same amount of electoral votes.  This is how you get in a situration where you can win the popular vote but loose the election.

Funny enough the orginal intention of the founding fathers of the united states was acturally to give electoral voters more freedom to who they vote for to pervent someone to out of the establishment from winning.  That why they went with a electoral system rather then a popular vote.  In other words what allowed Trump to win was acturally design to pervent someone like him from winning.  It funny sometime how things like that work out.

Yes she got more votes, but we don't give all the power to a few highly populated states.

If we did then maybe it would be time to split up the country.

Nice to know! Thanks allot.

I regret not voting for him, does that count? I know your poll is extremely biased and doesn't show that option, but I figured I would mention it here.

Didn't vote for him and it's going as poorly as imagined. Trump is a child. He has severe narcissistic tendencies that cripple his ability to think critically. He has difficulty grasping how our government works. Even more alarming has been his admission that so many of the things he wanted to do have been harder than imagined. He's clearly mentally unstable, unknowledegeable about critical domestic and foreign policy issues, and doesn't understand how the world works. The sheer incompetence of his administration is appaling and even scarier when we see the possibility of traitorous Russian collusion.

I fear for the future of this country and world under him and this current generation of republicans. I don't think most Trump supporters will regret their choice anytime soon but I'm 100% sure history will look unfavorably on Trump and his supporters decision to elect him. Best case scenario, democrats win back congress and remove him from office or some moderate republicans grow some balls and do it before hand.
