Well considering what that place is like why wouldn't we? Someone's gotta keep them from being like Russia, especially considering Khazakstan treats it's own people as disposable.

Kazakhstan's part of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, so I'm very surprised.

They still pale in comparrison to Russia as a threat though.

No, I'm talking about the NATO base. They're in an economic and military alliance with Russia right now.

You mean Khazakstan is? Then that makes them an accessory to evil.

Every country in the world is an accessory to evil.

I'm surprised that heartless cueball hasn't already done that.

Putin is smart, he wouldn't do that. I was referencing US presidents though. A Russian prez wouldnt mess themselves up. The US could force it into collapse though. Easily. Wont happen under Trump though

No they couldn't. After a certain point, trade would simply change over to other regions and bypass the US altogether. Attempting to pull a North Korea or Cuba on Russia would likely only stagnate their economy... And murder that of Europe, which does trade with Russia to a sizable extent. US trade is already tiny. Most of the sanctions don't work. The reason is bad management and the oil price crash. Europe does contribute to some extent, but that's only them.

Unless power projection is involved, those two are head to head. The US will never be able to solo Russia in anything short of a proxy war.

That's not what I'm getting at.

They're constantly emphasizing their nukes, invading other countries when they're own country is massive, and supporting a Middle Eastern regime that's against NATO (which Canada is part of). THAT is proof they want war.

Even now, I still think you're referring to your loud neighbors from the floor below...

I forgot to mention this.

Or this...

The only threat that comes from Russia is the nukes and maybe some espionage crap, the rest is an absolute joke. They spend 60 billion dollars a year on their military. China spends about 100 billion a year. The USA spends about 600 billion dollars a year on it's military. So even if they combined their firepower, we'd still bury both of them. That's not even including all the ally nations we have...

These countries have a lot more to be afraid of from us than we do of them. As long as no one starts the nukes, we're fine...

LMAO, you really think the US can take on Russia and China? Good joke.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Russia and China have no means to get to USA besides nukes.  So it is a nuke standoff.  Russia and China navys are a joke and have always been a joke.  The most they can do is put a nuclear missle on a sub which all sides can do.
