I was thinking maybe there's no new tracks for deluxe because nintendo wants to make money with dlc rather than give them away for free. The last dlc on wii u was released 2 years ago this month and surely a new battle mode didn't take very long. Also i don't expect MK9 to come out untill 2019 to give deluxe a chance to sell. So they could have made more dlc for MK8 deluxe in 2016 ready for this year. Of course by now nintendo would have definately moved on to developement of MK9 for a 2019 release. Those are just my views, I could just be talkng bollocks.

There will be a $90 Dock Amiibo with $90 worth of technology inside. When you activate it ingame you get to play as the Dock and get a higher resolution thanks to the external processing power within the Dock Amiibo.
