The fuck? Are those prices normal now for PS4 games in Japan? I was planning to import.

Wow, and I thought we had it bad here. Do you guys get sales often?

This will move a lot of ps4's this summer. No Switch version in July is a big plus for the ps4.

Well Switch will have Splatoon 2 in summer. :)

I don't mean it as a PS4 vs Switch thing. I mean it just from the PS4's point of view and no Switch version at launch is a big positive for it.

Anyway ps4 version despite being 3000 yen more expensive is #1 on Japan.  Ps4 slim sold out too.

This is great!!! First off, July 29th is way earlier than I, and I expect most people, anticipated. Second, if the Switch version doesn't release at the same time, then that's fantastic news for PS4, the sky will be the limit in terms of sales. Third, that box art looks awesome; Square really know how to make a game's cover look cool!

We got Book Off, we don't need sales!

Saw FFXV for ¥1500 in there recently and Berserk Musou (PS3 version) for ¥108 yen. Those are some good prices!

It probably costs more to get to the store than to buy the games

Technically I did because until this trailer I didn't even know DQ11 was going to be on the 3DS or even the Switch. Then again, DQ is one of those games that I haven't really been able to get behind for some reason. Only played one...... so I haven't been keeping an eye on it.

eh... ok.

I mean thats strange that you couldnt have possibly known there was a 3DS version since PS4, 3DS (and even NX version mentioned) were all announced at the same time with footage.

But ok, sure if you only knew of the PS4 version up until now.

Its not strange at all.... this was actually the first trailer of the game I have watched too. Or i think I also saw it at one of sony's press conferences and they didn't (obviously) say anything about other platorms then.

Wow, that soon? The dev team has been real efficient with this game. I wasn't expecting it so soon. Cool to hear. I just hope it's complete with no issues. Also hopin' the Switch version is not too off either.

It better have turn based option or else I won't even look at this game.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

They can't afford to be lazy with this game

Has the series been having problems? Aside from the weird MMO, it seemed to be fine overall so far.

DQ fans, like myself, are very protective of the series from changing too much. The Japanese fans are even more passionate. For example, DQ9 almost had a action-like system but that REALLY pissed fans off so they scrapped the idea. Seems they slightly revived the idea in the PS4 ver. But since it is still turn based they probably don't care. I just wonder what benefit it provides since in ARPGs it doesnt stop you from getting hit -moving from enemy. But if you can avoid hits, I can see this being very cool.
