GT5p+Motorstorm2 > Forza2, PS3 WINs I haven't played GT 5 yet... but looking at the past in term of simulation GT series have never been close to the quality of forza in term of driving... graphics are one thing...but when i'm looking at a simulation i'd take the best handeling over graphics any day... and motorstorm 2 is not out either... I could put forza 3 up there then ???? and then even if GT 5 is better in simulation which I doubt but who knows... i'm pretty sure Forza 3 would take over again...

Also I didnt mention Forza3 because it is for 2009 as GT5 final.
That is why I dont use FFXIII in the RPG category or God of War3.

hum, Ratchet is good and we know nothing about Banjo/Kazooie ...DRAW ? kameo maybe ???? one of the most innovative platformer I have played... could site kameo 2 if I use the same method as you

I just say that Ratchet is here and good. While Banjo/Kazooie is all and nothing for the moment.
Maybe it will be amazing, I just dont know that is why I put DRAW.

At the end, the best plateform for RPG is the Xbox360, while the best plateform for Racer is the PS3

U add the RRoD for the Xbox360 (what a nice exclusive), 50$ online to pay, WHAOOO less than a guiness I don't drink a month for a live experience better than any other support....without saying with the extra money you pay for PS 3 you can afford a couple years of XBL

U add Wiifi, freeonline, BR player and MGS4+FFXIII for the PS3,

and u know which console u have to buy ...

EDIT : actually, LBP+Rachet = PS3 WINs plateform category. LBP the game with 70% of the background drawn by a 4 years old where you can basically just run and jump in a "3 D" world with as much freedom than I had on double dragon 2 on nintendo... where you make you level with every day object you can bounce reasticaly in ??? with good physics ?? I call that a tech demo not a platformer....I'd replay kameo 10 times before buying that game.... it's too bad because the concept had a good base but come on who they are kidding??? how long it's gonna be fun 10 minutes an hour ??? 

==> I dont know but this is still another title in the category that u can add to Rachet. The xbox360 just has no plateformer game for the moment so it is hard to defend her. PS3 WINs

I read more details somewhere but I don't have it here... they clearly said it will be important in size.... I doubt rockstar would lie about that... and like starcraft said there are other GTA like on XB wether people like them or not is not really relevant over all XB wins on that one... with crack down GTA plus DLC, saint raw, just cause, and we can put mercenarie I guess in that list too...

As you've said, average RPG's and the ones which are good are heading to the PS3 as well. No, I'll stick with the PS3 as my favorite RPG platform when it comes to console gaming. Hopefully developers can really make it worth it.

 You should defiantly work for Microsoft as a PR manager of something. I know it's just your opinion but holy crap! It's like they brain washed you or something.

If you like playing great games, you should definitely get XBOX360 - simple as that.
Other consoles are great too, but so far Xbox has best games.

Your post fails hard. It only accomplishes the following:

2. Makes generalized, unsupportable arguments such "which has all it's games come to pc in the end" and "there is hardly any 360 alive after that time"

3. Makes no positive statements at all, and in the end shows the poster to be much more biased than the original poster

 


 without saying that sales number of a platform doesn't represent the quality of its library.... people's choice is not the synonyme of quality or/and right choice... it's just the result of an efficient addvertising and marketing campain nothing more nothing less..... nothing more than 20% of the buyers are doing a wellthought decision when they buy..... and that's a statistical fact we use evryday in marketing and advertising.... what's funne is 80% of the buyer claim the opposite :) welcome to the evil empire of mind controling ;)

@leo, I don't want any of those games really. MGS4 might be nice, but, meh I can live without the few games that are pure exclusives and not console/PC games.

for me a Civ game is >>>> than a FF game. A battlefield game is >>>> than resistance/halo/insert other console fps crap. Hell, CoD4 >>> resistance/halo/etc. Rachet??? um no. Nintendo owns this class of game anyways.

My sig should be read with obvious personal tastes inserted and that a very small number of big games are not PS360/PC games right now and for the near future.

I think the 360 is great, and people should want it. XBL is unrivaled. Achievements and the current lineup of games (especially RPG's) cannot be beat.

BUT IMO when compared directly to the PS3, it is just not on par.
There is nothing wrong with owning both systems, but if you have to choose between the two, then it is hard not to look towards the future... and buy a PS3.

Man if I didn't already have one, I would be all over the MGS4 bundle.. so sweet.
