CoD4 is multiplateform, Halo3 belows to past but Gear of war is The Xbox360 exclusive without any doubt. GoW2 should be very good too.
BUT
PS3 has Unchartred/Haze/KZ2/Resistance/(MGS4?) and I doubt they will all bomb : DRAW haze will come to XB 360 MGS 4 is not a shooter but suposedely a stealth game like splinter cell.... KZ 2 is not out how can you compare the library quality now then... ==> I m talking about 2008 line-up as starcraft. If starcraft can mention GoW2 or Fable2, I can mention KZ2 or MGS4 oh i was just seeing you were siting only already released games on XB and not on PS 3 my bad if I had to take in account starcraft listing, i didn't read it that way... and you forgot bioshock though...
About MGS4, it is now more action oriented so I can put it on this category. still i don't if it can qulify as a shooter but why not
I suppose you prefer forget this game as it dont fit with the "Xbox360 best exclusivity concept" wrong i can't stand stealth game it can e MGS or splinter I don't like the game experience it provides so i couldn't care less if MGS stays or not exclusive PS 3 I won't buy it either way... never like the MGS serie never liked the splinter cell one... but i can see the hype around MGS and understand why some want to see it come to XB

RACERs :
GT5p+Motorstorm2 > Forza2, PS3 WINs I haven't played GT 5 yet... but looking at the past in term of simulation GT series have never been close to the quality of forza in term of driving... graphics are one thing...but when i'm looking at a simulation i'd take the best handeling over graphics any day... and motorstorm 2 is not out either... I could put forza 3 up there then ???? and then even if GT 5 is better in simulation which I doubt but who knows... i'm pretty sure Forza 3 would take over again...
==> I said GT5p + Motorstorm2 versus Forza2. I assume these 2 experiences added together will be superior to Forza2 alone. I see what you mean... maybe you are right I don't know those game enough (the PS 3 ones) Also I didnt mention Forza3 because it is for 2009 as GT5 final.
That is why I dont use FFXIII in the RPG category or God of War3.

hum, Ratchet is good and we know nothing about Banjo/Kazooie ...DRAW ? kameo maybe ???? one of the most innovative platformer I have played... could site kameo 2 if I use the same method as you

I just say that Ratchet is here and good. While Banjo/Kazooie is all and nothing for the moment.

GTAIV : multiplateform game ... yeah with major exclusive content on XB
==> major ? who knows ... well R* said themself that it will be more than just an add on like regular DLC for other games... I read more details somewhere but I don't have it here... they clearly said it will be important in size.... I doubt rockstar would lie about that... and like starcraft said there are other GTA like on XB wether people like them or not is not really relevant over all XB wins on that one... with crack down GTA plus DLC, saint raw, just cause, and we can put mercenarie I guess in that list too...
At the end, the best plateform for RPG is the Xbox360, while the best plateform for Racer is the PS3
U add the RRoD for the Xbox360 (what a nice exclusive), 50$ online to pay, WHAOOO less than a guiness I don't drink a month for a live experience better than any other support....without saying with the extra money you pay for PS 3 you can afford a couple years of XBL ==> I m ok with this, best online experience is for the Xbox360.
U add Wiifi, freeonline, BR player and MGS4+FFXIII for the PS3,
and u know which console u have to buy ... EDIT : actually, LBP+Rachet = PS3 WINs plateform category. LBP the game with 70% of the background drawn by a 4 years old where you can basically just run and jump in a "3 D" world with as much freedom than I had on double dragon 2 on nintendo... where you make you level with every day object you can bounce reasticaly in ??? with good physics ?? I call that a tech demo not a platformer....I'd replay kameo 10 times before buying that game.... it's too bad because the concept had a good base but come on who they are kidding??? how long it's gonna be fun 10 minutes an hour ??? ==> I dont know but this is still another title in the category that u can add to Rachet. The xbox360 just has no plateformer game for the moment so it is hard to defend her. PS3 WINs |
