Same. I'd suprrised though because I thought Disney essentially axed future non cannon projects.

Like Star Wars Battlefront? Who knows how much say Disney even have. When they sold exclusive game rights to EA I'd be quite surprised if EA let them veto the games they wanted to make.

I mean projects outside of the the original and new trilogies timeline.

I hope that it is true and if it is true then I hope they don't fuck it up.

The MMO they made, Star Wars: The Old Republic, was actually really good--as a single player experience. As an MMO, the end game was just WoW dipped in Star Wars. Leveling up, however, with all the worlds, quests, and especially player choice, was very satisfying.

Might be the best game I've ever played in terms of letting me be an evil player. I also really enjoyed the pure mercenary route.

I dont trust Bioware with shit.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Would they be likely to make it for ps4?

It's not Kotor 3 because that already happened in book and mmo. The story has been told.
But a new single player star wars RPG would be sweet.

This could be the final nail in Bioware's coffin.

They DA team needs to concentrate on the next one of those (which should already be announced but let's ignore that), their main team is doing a new game and their secondary team just did ME:A right? The Austin team are the MMO team so I wouldn['t have faith in them making a new non-mmo game.

Hmm, pie.

Unless MS moneyhats it (unlikely because Phil doesn't seem to like moneyhatting full exclusives) I would assume it will be multiplat or at most a timed exclusive. Alot has changed since the old days when KOTOR 1 and 2 were Xbox/PC only.

Poor Phil. It's not his decision, but he gets the heat.

Yeah he gets way too much credit when things go good and way too much abuse when things go bad.

@everyone else

Never played the series.  Actually thought it was a RTS not an RPG so it would be more suited to being a pc exclusive then anything.

But yeah it's an RPG so probably xb, PS and pc.  Although a money hat and a years exclusivity to xb/pc is possible.

Unlikely.
Although, a Scorpio exclusive system seller for me. Can you imagine that occurring at E3.

You seem to forget that EA is in control of Bioware now. Firstly, that means the game may not be as good as people would hope because EA seems to damage more franchises than they enhance when they get their hands on the developer. Secondly, Unless there is a large pot of money involved EA puts games on as many platforms as it can. I can see EA doing some marketing and perhaps timed exclusive content for Scorpio though. Nothing like having your cake and eating it too for businesses like EA.
