I just noticed that we also have two dupe threads going: "Worth The Wait? Why GT Sport Will Be The Best Driving Simulation Game Ever"

So there has never been a good driving sim before until now?.

Best and first good are two different things.

And then of course there is "ever".

why don't you just ignore them?

also i find it funny how you say you never experience this with nintendo fans. because i experienced quite the opposite when BOTW reviews came out.

"I dont know if this makes any sense." It doesn't.

"Are people shoving new games down our throat?" No. The majority of gamers like to talk about games they like, especially the new games that they like.

I don't understand what you're complaining about. Is it that a good bit of gamers will talk about the games they like or do you not like new games? Do you just not like the communities from certain consoles or something?

Back towards the launch of PS3 and 360 (Wii not so much), I started getting a sense that fanboys were shoving games down our throats that dont need them to. Now today with games like Horizen, Witcher 3, and recently Persona 5 it seems like everyone is saying "This is a masterpiece!! You must play now!" Hyping up a game that doesnt need it and arguably is better without it.. I enjoy Persona because they were games that recieved great reviews and had a humble, also niche, community. I never really experience this with Nintendo games, but Xbox and PS fans really want people to know they enjoy the game. Sure Zelda had some of this, but it also leads to discussion about the actual game, not just "This game is GOAT" "Yes Masterpiece", but instead keep the community.

I dont know if this makes any sense.

I think we've just had an oddly successful streak of great games to start this year. Can't really remember the last time I've seen so many high 80's and even mid to high 90's over just a few months.

Which means better than the others up until now, not the first to be good.

Concentrating on the first part.

Of course not, nobody forces anybody do to anything, if u dont like it, just skip threads about it.

Nowadays, we know like 90%  of what the  game is thanks to marketing, media, news, trailers etc so what is so bad sharing ur opinions about the game ?

Not really, I get the games I'm interested in so no one is forcing me to play certain games

It's funny when you say this doesn't happen with Nintendo games, lol this is the case with all anticipated games that end up delivering (for most people at least). Not so much with Xbox anymore but happened at some point. It's a gaming forum so nothing weird with that

Where were you in the last 2 months? Did you decide to avoid internet entirely?

"People are trying to push me to buy Persona 5, but nobody ever talked about Zelda being that great...". Yeah, right XD

(We could also add the last 2 years about the entire Switch console and line-up...)
