Forums - Nintendo - Lego City Undercover Disappointing Loading Times

:(

I was really hoping for way faster loading times.... sadly... this is not the case.

Welp, those are awful loading times for both versions. Do we know if the Switch version is with or without those 13 extra gb it had to download?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

Still faster though. And it seems the game is simply not optimized well so it loads lots of assets.

There is no 13gb to download

It does not require that much space. 13GB is the maximum 'potential' required space -- the game does not require 13GB, whether in cartridge form or in digital download form.

I am assuming that is from the cartridge? I am wondering how fast it will be via internal.

Holy crap, over 50 secs of loading time? Do you realize how much that is for your everyday life? You could go to the bathroom in 50 secs. You could make a sandwich in 50 secs. You could find the girl of your dreams, go out with her, marry her, have unplanned children that ruin the relationship, fall into alcoholism, divorce papers, she gets the kids, you lose the house and die alone on the streets of pulmonary embolism, and your game would still be loading.

Even they are noticeably faster on Switch, still slow.

well Switch isn't a big jump in power so it is not surprising

should be better on PS4 and X1

Hmm, no reason to get it on the Switch then. I wonder if ps4 pro helps with loading.
Btw why are the colors so dull on the Switch, bad capture?
