I was listening to some old music on my phone and realized that I just listened to several Zelda songs in succesion. It got me thinking "Man Zelda has some really great music that involves you in the game". I figured I share some of my favorites. These are in no particular order.

1. This was one of my favorites. When you first go into that open sea on that sailboat. It feels like an adventure begins. After beating Molegra and reforging the Master Sword, it felt that I was embarking on a new destiny.

2. Now an oldie but a goodie, this theme really made me feel like I was in a different world. Full of magic and wonder. It was like I was this boy who had to fight an evil, manipulative wizard. I felt it was my destiny to stop him. I slowly felt like I whisked away to this realm of magic where I was constantly learning new spells and encountering mysterious, dangerous beasts.

3. Everyone has that memory of going to the Dark World for the first time. For me, every time I had to go in, I felt I was getting closer and closer to the dark side.

4. Skyward Sword is arguably my favorite game in the series. Everytime I hear this song I am just so enthralled by it all. It makes the world feel vast and the destiny feel fittingly grand. If feels like it is literally telling you what you are and what you are destined to do

5. Zant was weird yet compelling. He had so much darkenss surrounding him. A serious air to him the entire game. When you finally fight him, he is very flamboyant and everywhere. When I first fought him I took me so completely off guard that I kept on losing my footing when fighting him.

So there you go. 5 of some of my favorite themes. What are yours?

I was just playing Zelda II for NES... 8 bit music was da best! I think thats the best Zelda Music (then again, havent played so many Zelda games)

Always a classic. Link Between Worlds version is really good too.

My favourite playable song from Ocarina of Time is the Serenade of Water, and this is just an extended version of it, basically.
