Forums - Nintendo - Microsoft to acquire Nintendo in deal worth $ 14.8 bil

Good 1st of April Joke. Well, not even funny, MS would kill Nintendo as they killed Rare.

allthough this is an april joke- wasnt ms, trhough steven balmer, planning to buy nintendo at one point or was it SEGA? I think it was after the gamecube, he said something like the profit wouldnt overcome the cost, for too long, meaning he would probably be dead by then anyway.

Could've fooled me, as if Nintendo is worth that much.

It includes 4 joycons and a pro controller.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

If only this were true. I have no desire to buy a Switch - but I'd definitely buy Mario Odyssey on my Xbox One or Scorpio.

The standards are really low this year. Virtually everyone makes glaring spelling errors in their jokes. "Nintnedo", yeah...

Exactly. Plus, there should be an attempt to make the joke more realistic, according to CNBC.com, Nintendo has a market valuation of $28 billion, and would sell at a much higher premium than that.

Nintendo is worth more than 30 billion dollaz right now, and hot companies being acquired usually do more than their market cap is worth. So prolly 35 to 40 billion dollaz, if Nintendo shareholders agreed.

Finally! Mario Odyssey will be a real game and be online multiplayer only! Well until it gets cancelled.

Well, maybe Rare can finally be saved again at least.
