Do you set your TV on "GAME"?

Yes. 58 40.56%

No. 79 55.24%

Dunno. 6 4.20%

Not really, mainly because setting my monitor to game mode tends to over saturate the colours to a point where the white colours blind me and the dark colours hide everything.

I prefer custom settings, with brightness up to 60, saturation by 55 and contrast at 50.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I set it to Game mode and then tweak the settings out, what causes lag on games is all the post-processing that the TV does, Game mode turns all of that stuff off. One thing that I don't like is that Game mode sets the color scheme to "warm" on most TV's and that's one of the settings that I change, also I like to mess around with the Black Detail setting, I usually set that to high.

Nope. When I get a new TV I spend time doing different things like watching TV, Sports, Movies, etc and tweak the settings to get to one I feel is best. I then never touch again.

It depends a lot on the game and the TV, usually in my experience game mode exaggerates the colors and the sharpness, which doesn't fit well with some games but it does with others. I usually play in Natural mode with the settings tweaked a bit, but some games (like BoTW) looked better on game mode.

Maybe the reason I didn't notice much of a difference between standard and game is because I have most of the post processing turned off in standard mode to retain detail.

My TV is always set on game, I only open it to play games & my family don't change the settings

On the plus side, my TV has 4 HDMI ports (and two of them are 4k HDR capable).

Port one: WiiU, Xbox 360, PS3, and Dish Network
Port two: Xbox One S
Port 3: PlayStation 4 Pro
Port 4: Nintendo Switch

I think most newer TVs do this but each port has its own setting preference and they are independent of each other. Even the volume settings stay the same. I think I have each console pretty much set to my ideal likings. Only downside is that the consoles in Port one have to share the same setting.

My primary monitor is always on game.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

My PC monitor (which i use for both console and PC gaming) has a 'Game Mode', but i don't use it. All the default profiles feel like they're trying too hard to be different, so exaggerate certain settings to make [x] took really vibrant, and [y] really warm, etc. I prefer to create my own profiles.

On my 2009 1080p Samsung TV, the game mode setting is a must. The lag introduced by motion+ and post processing is so high that you cannot play without this setting at all. But other than that there are no visual differences and there are many settings to fine tune.
