I set it to Game mode and then tweak the settings out, what causes lag on games is all the post-processing that the TV does, Game mode turns all of that stuff off. One thing that I don't like is that Game mode sets the color scheme to "warm" on most TV's and that's one of the settings that I change, also I like to mess around with the Black Detail setting, I usually set that to high.
