Like the time in the beginning of Uncharted 2 where he threw a security guard off of a building because he and Flynn wanted to rob a museum?
It's implied that Joel used to kill people for their possessions. This is a tough one...
I say Joel, because he is a broken man full of hatred.
Drake still has some fun in him.
Also... he lied to his wife... so he could go save his brother. So, i don't think its a minus. She was just trying to be a chocking wife.
His primary motivation is also not just greed but adventure. If it was he would've died. In the 4th game the motivation is to save his brother aswell.
So, yeah... i don't think Drake is that bad. Joel definitly is a cold hearted murderer. He kills bad guys and good guys. Drake only kills bad guys.
Ha when I first played UCIV on ps4 , and pressed x whilst climbing an art gallery, and drake threw an innocent security guard to his death, I was like wtf. PoHe kills so many people it's crazy.

Security guard, working shitty hours for a shitty wage are not bad guys lol
Joel is a product of the world created in TLOU. One of the best characters ever created for a video game.
Nathan Drake is basically Indiana jones for the Van Wilder generation. No contest who the bigger jerk is.

It is known that security guard never tipped waiters. So yeah, he had it coming.
Joel, and I would have been extremely disappointed if he had acted differently at the end of TLOU.
