Dude, I can't read that.

Oh, haha, I thought you were Norwegian :) The article basically says that major retailers in Norway said they were in contact with Nintendo and they said they wouldn't recieve more units.

Dude, I can't read that.

"tydet på at det gikk mot slutten for NES Classic Edition"

"To pay for it, get very slutty for NES Classic Edition."

Things we do for gaming...

I'll have to take your word for it since I can't read Norwegian. Still, it makes no sense shipments would be stopped with demand being so high...

Dude, I can't read that.

Here's what the google translator spills out (summary: the discontinuation was nothing but a rumour as a retailer first said there won't be more units and then the next week paddled back and said there will be more):

We reported a few days ago that Bergsala, the Norwegian Nintendo importer, had information indicating that it came to an end for NES Classic Edition, but now it still seems to happen.

For CDON and Webhallen in Sweden reported on behalf of customers who have ordered but not yet received their devices, they never will get it:

"Unfortunately, we have been told by Nintendo has chosen to terminate the global distribution of Nes Mini Classic, no more units will be delivered.

This means that we are not able to deliver your order. As games and retro enthusiasts, we can not but share the disappointment and we apologize for Nintendo's decision, called it from Webhallen. "

This they said to us last week
To ITavisen explained Norwegian Bergsala following last week:

"The production of the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System continues and Nintendo of Europe will continue to send out consoles on a regular basis. Beyond this, I have no further comment. "

I think Tmfwang must have misread that article.

Nope, just Google Translate being tricky again. This is an update to an article published by the same site a week before, and that article is basically written under your "This they said to us last week". Alas, it was an old statement, and the newest one is the one offered to CDON and webhallen.

also, the top paragraph would translate like this:

"We reported a few days ago that Bergsala, the Norwegian Nintendo importer, did not have any information indicating that it came to an end for NES Classic Edition, but now it seems to be happening."

and the quote on the bottow of the article is basically a follow up as to what they previously said earlier.
