I decided to give the 08 yearly charts a peek for NA, and I was shocked to find out that Wii software is almost identical to 360 software, and the Wii's userbase is still around 1.5 million smaller than the 360's. However, I think the bundled games kinda cancel out the userbase difference, in other words Wii is dead even with 360.

I have noticed there has been less Wii bashing as of late (no plays anything but Wii Sports blah blah blah). It would appear that Wii Software sales have done a 180 since the release of SMG.

This is no diss on 360, 360 has great software sales.. I am glad to see the Wii keeping pace.

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Interesting . But how many games are given away with 360's. Usually two isn't it. If so it makes the Wiis games sales even better.

Talk about bundles. My Costco had 2 Wii shipments this week (never happened before) and both game with Wii Play and Super Mario Galaxy. I doubt that this happened at all Costcos in America but that would be at least 15,000 Wiis, Wii Plays, and SMGs sold this week. Unless Nintendo fell in love with Costco this week expect good numbers.

The 360 isn't currently shipping with anything bundled in NA. Over the holidays they shipped it with Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2, but those bundles were discontinued.

Japanese Wii Fit sales are already counted...it would be kind of pointless not to track NA sales too.

I live in Europe so i dont`t know the prices..
Are the Wii games cheaper than Xbox360..
Or is there no difference.?

Wii sales are looking very healthy..compared to Gamecube..As you showed us in your previous articles

I have no problem with retailer bundles being counted for sales. People are still paying for the game. The ones that irked me were the Motostorm, and Marvel: AU bundles.... they were a free give away, and they were game most people would not have gotten.
