I decided to give the 08 yearly charts a peek for NA, and I was shocked to find out that Wii software is almost identical to 360 software, and the Wii's userbase is still around 1.5 million smaller than the 360's. However, I think the bundled games kinda cancel out the userbase difference, in other words Wii is dead even with 360.
I have noticed there has been less Wii bashing as of late (no plays anything but Wii Sports blah blah blah). It would appear that Wii Software sales have done a 180 since the release of SMG.
This is no diss on 360, 360 has great software sales.. I am glad to see the Wii keeping pace.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
