Will then make many posts bitching about Microsoft having to pay outside studios to make exclusive games, LOL.

Weird wish in one hand shit in the other aside, yes, more Sunset is a good thing regardless of who is publishing or what platform it ends up on.

Yes, I guess this explains why pretty much every E3 they have had recently have all been leaked well beforehand, even the new games.

I felt that a lot of gamers didn't give SO a chance. That game was beyond fun. I wouldn't mind seeing a 2nd game from the franchise. I don't care if it stays exclusive to MS or goes multiplat. I'll get the game.

Hey, when they took exclusivity of Final Fantasy and Tekken from Sony I nearly flipped my shit. Same thing with metal gear solid. When they revealed Sunset Overdrive, id never heard of it as a project until E3 of 2015. It launched in the same year. Spencer has been very good about being vocal about Halo, because when Halo 5 was revealed, I didnt know it was coming in 2015.

As has been pointed out, for the last two years we've known everything MS is gonig to announce at E3 before they've taken the stage.

 

Besides, there's a difference between playing close to the chest, and not communicating with the developer over the future of the franchise.

I already know that, but im just saying that they should.  I know im not playing Sea of Theives as it stands  right now. Not even remotely interested. As it stands now thats the best new IP they've had to me. Its just like how some people have been salivating for another Shenmue or Jet Set Radio.

Thats true. Im sure sony has stopped pursuing the IP to that game already. I dont know if activision or EA would work with Insomniac right now because much like Sony they would want the IP or they would have some demanding exclusive contract ready and waiting for them.

I think its time for part two to be revealed  for the holiday season if all is well. If this is one of the exclusives Microsofts waiting to reveal at E3 I will flip.

Insomniac has had many games surface and release,  bunch of decent VR titles, Ratchet and Clank, Spiderman

Currently the entire Sunset overdrive team is busy with spider-man game with modified SO engine.. I doubt we will get a sequel to SO if Spiderman is well received, and considering how well traversing in SO was received I think Spiderman is here to stay.
