June seems more plausible than October/November. Even if it took as long to arrive as Super Paper Mario, it would still arrive in September.

And I can see why Europe needs a delay (all the translation) but why does Australia need to suffer?

@Generic Username There is no way that the translation takes this long for Pal Regions. After all SSBB doesn't include this much text, they delayed it for business reasons. For example we get Mario Kart an Wii Fit both in April, so they can't release SSBB shortly afterwards it would be bad for sales. I too think that the release date in June seems accurate, but i wouldn't bet on it.

June 1st doesn't seem right, as someone said it sounds more like a placeholder date. I wouldn't expect smash bros brawl before the end of summer at the earliest (hope I'm wrong). There is actually a lot of text in the trophy section which could account for some of the translation delay.

Yeah i know that about the Trophy section, but that doesn't explain a three month delay even if they have to translate it into let's say 4 languages. I mean its not like they have only one person working on that.

The hype has gone for me now anyway... I will buy the game but it won't be straight away.

I'm more interested in Mario Kart, which is a series I trust to be brilliant (I haven't played a Smash game before, wheras until last summer the ony mario games I had played were MK64 and MKDD)
