So what OP did was highlight a recent statement that may clear up any remaining doubt, and then added the PC comment, as people who previously thought those games would be Scorpio only, may now believe that they will be on PC as well.

Again, nothing seems strange about the comment.

You nailed it and even included the source from Shannon Loftis that I was too lazy to look up lol. Either way Chazore probably thought I had more meaning behind that PC comment and took offense to it, but no harm no foul. Just a misunderstanding I think.

I will be buying my 1st XBO gen console when Scoprio comes out. I feel like now that Halo and Gears have both dropped, and they have a console that can take advantage of my XBR75Z9D, it is time to enjoy the handful of exclusives they offer.

Selling out and exceeding Sonys expectations is poor now? Pro has accounted for about 20% of PS4 sales since launch in Japan, and they are the slowest to adopt to new consoles. Sony obviously had no intentions for Pro to outsell Slim this holiday, but it is putting in its work. And, I will garentee that this holiday they will put a massive push behind it, because, they will have 100's of Pro supported titles, there will be more 4K HDR TVs on the market, and Scoprio will be out. 

Next gen is not happening anytime soon. PS4 Pro and Scoprio are not even the last upgrade we will see on this gen, and they will both do very well. We are in a great place in cosnole history, with more choice, and longer life cycles than ever before. In the end, this is going to result in some amazing late PS4/XBO titles in the early 2020's before we see the drought, and growing pains of the PS5 and XB4 in the mid 2020's.

Most people think by 2020 that sony will have Playstation 5 launch.

Do you think microsoft will give Sony a 1year headstart, with the next gen?

As soon as they heard about Neo, they announced the Scorpio at E3 because they were embarassed about having a weaker platform to Sony. They were so embarassed, they literally raced to raise the clock speed of the XBox One before launch. Thats primarily what this is about. As time goes on they will find other good reasons, but the timing is right for this sort of thing now because of middle generation iterations before the next generation in cellphones.

lol.... Scorpio was rumored and revealed before the Neo/Pro. You could just as easily say Sony is only doing it because MS is doing it :)

And they are going about it in different ways. MS is taking their time with it and making the most powerful console ever. Sony gave the PS4 a small boost. Per usual your theories regarding MS don't hold much water when looked at logically. If the Scorpio were some reactionary afterthought by MS, rushed out to counter the Pro, then it would be out already.

I'm sure Sony copied Microsoft with the Pro while releasing it six months ago while Microsoft hasn't even been able to confirm specs let alone a launch date since reveal. I mean, sure, you could just as easily say that but people would think you're stupid.

I see you're flag waving the "most powerful console ever" bit as well. As if that's some mystical title that isn't already outclassed by PC and will be outclassed by Sony two years later. I mean, the Ps4 was the most powerful console and the ps4 pro IS the most powerful console and that's been going on for over 3 years now. It's such a non statement, it's as if the tech industry remains stagnant.

Out of curiosity, when did Scorpio rumors start to swhirl? Sony had been foreshadowing and teasing the Pro since at least October 2015. It officially got the code name "NEO" on March 18th of 2016. Here's an exerpt

"Sony already has the more powerful console when it comes to the current generation but it turns out that it may consider a ‘high-power’ model at some point in the future too. This PS4 would offer improved hardware, while also still being able to play all of the current games thanks to the x86 architecture. This is all according to Sony Computer Entertainment Senior VP, Masayasu Ito, who shared his thoughts in an interview with 4Gamer. 

There are no immediate plans for a superior version of the PS4 and a big part of the discussion is centred around splitting the console user-base. Sony has strong sales momentum at the moment, so it probably wouldn’t want to do anything to jeopardise that."

No less stupid than the idea that the direction MS is going is simply to copy Sony. They are equally "stupid" positions to take :)

And PC has outclassed consoles forever. Never stopped us from talking about a consoles power before. Sony touts the Pros power. MS touts Scorpios. Maybe you should send them the memo that PCs are more powerful? Hell maybe they'll stop caring about power altogether.

LOL @ flag waving. Just stating facts. Is Microsoft not making the most powerful console ever right now, a huge leap from their current console? They are. What a bizarre issue to take with such a simple comment. Yes, we all know technology progresses. I bet the PS6 will be way more powerful than the PS3. I bet Horizon Zero Dawn 3 on PS5 will look waaaaaaay better than Horizon 1, so who gives a shit about how 1 looks, eh?

After all the nonsense we saw thread after thread after thread after thread about PS4 vs Xbone 1080/900p stuff does "Scorpio is the most powerful console ever" really bother you that much? Scorpio is the most powerful console ever. Sorry. And yes, I know PlayStation 6 Supreme will slay it. I'm talking about the different approaches the two companies are taking to release and support their mid gen upgrades :)
