We all know the Switch is not a super powerful home console, but one thing you can't deny is that it's a pretty powerful handheld. It's really opened the door for what can be achieved on a handheld gaming system.

(I know the PsVita is an old system, the comparison is primarily to show how much handheld gaming has advanced since then)

Hold up, people are comparing a 6 year old handheld with a new console/handheld? Surly the difference will be Black &a white!?

It's like how people compared the PS4 and Xbox One with the PS3 and 360 it's to show the graphical improvement of the next generation of hardware.

Those colours look pretty vivid on Switch. It looks like docked mode has been captured rather than portable mode which would be a fairer comparison. Also Vita looks washed out where as normally the OLED display of the earlier model looks stunning colour wise and superior to the LCD of the later Vita and probably Switch too.

As for technical performance yes clearly Vita is much weaker but you can also play the ps4 game on Vita using remote play as an option if your are at home or have a very fast fibre broadband connection at home and at the location of the wifi signal you are using.

Definitely looks nicer, and it should since the Switch is a lot newer than the Vita..
