Forums - Nintendo - I'm torn on whether to go for enhanced WiiU ports on Switch

I was amazed to know that Nintendo put a deluxe edition of Mario Kart on the Switch. I never thought id see the day that they would pull a Capcom. Id say that if you're a fan and want the mobility, you should get the switch games. This goes double if you have a lot of friends and have meet up spots where you can play socially (without getting jacked).

If you already bought a switch just to play Zelda for a couple of months then why are you torn?

IMO should have waited till November to buy one.

I didn't get Switch just for Zelda. I'll still be getting ARMS, Spatoon 2, Tetris as well as possibly RIME and Snake Pass.

Zelda is enough to keep me really busy for a long while. But it's nice to have a 2nd Itsgame to cycle through now and then.

Its good to know that you're taking your time with Zelda. All of my friends are burning trhough it. They wont even make it until April when Mario Kart drops. The way the switch is selling its sure to turn some third party companies heads, so support is a must and a very high possibility now (since its Nintendos highest selling console now). Im picking up my switch with Mario Kart and Zelda simultaneously in April when Kart launches (if I dont get burned out from open world games first). I might just take a quarter off and return to it in third quarter.

I don't see how anyone can burn through this game - it's so massive with so much to do.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

The game takes about fifty to sixty hours until you can comfortably beat gannon. It takes one hundred hours to complete (or more) from the last time that I read.I specified that they could burn through this game before April (when the next major switch game drops). I have friends who beat the Witcher 3 without completing it (or getting close to it) within the 50-60 hour time frame...but if they go for more its well over 100 hours. Someof those friends bought a switch and are already hard at work.

Hell yeah. A friend of mine played more than 10 hours per day during the weekend. Whenever I turn on my Switch he's online lol. It's crazy.

LOL Yep. If you are a gamer with gamer friends theres always those hardcore fans. I have a friend who is always on destiny at night. Thats all she plays. LOL Well...until Mass Effect drops. One thing I love about Nintendo switch is whatever device youre using, it can be used in a social setting while youre talking to your friends. I wouldve cracked up if I was you seeing your friend playing the game for hours. My Co worker got the game and literally brings the switch to work. He easily gets in three hours after work and im not sure how much he gets before then when its docked.

Not rebuying MK8... also with paid online from nitnendo... thats just a no.

Is it sad that I want to get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just so I can play as dry bones?

If there isnt anything else, then id say nintendo Finessed a lot of people. This is Capcom level right here. Wiii U gamers deserve better.

Depends: I have younger siblings and the Switch having Mario Kart on it might end up being convenient.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

How is this any different than the hundreds of other HD remasters out there from every company.
