I guess the Japanese decided for us which is the better open world game.

So when horizon is shown to have sold better in the UK or NA does that mean its the better open world game then?

Well they aren't Japanese. They don't decide thise things.

Surprised Zelda didn't get over 200k retail on the Switch.

Horizon did absolutely amazing. Superb comg ratio.

Gta V actually increased this week and this budget version is almost at 300k!

Ps4 hardware at 37k super healthy. It's the #1 console YTD too which is nice!

Zelda didnt do more than that because it was sold out, otherwise it would have done more than 200k.As for proof, people have been saying here that many people who pre-ordered Zelda at COMG didnt receive its copy.

From Hiska-san on gaf.

So, according to Famitsu, these are the shipment range:

Zelda Breat of the Wild - from 241k to 321k "

So it's not sold out.

Eh good start for zelda and horizon. I was expecting a little more from both but I can't complain :v

Does that includes the Wii U version?

The long-term massive success of the Switch is guaranteed in Japan.

Doesn't famitsu say 60-80 sold for both versions of Zelda while 80-100% for Horizon

"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

Looks like only about 1 in 4 Switch buyers bought 1,2 Switch despite very little competition from other games.

Not looking great for the revival of the mini-game craze. Otherwise solid launch for Nintendo, more or less in line with what the Wii/Wii U/3DS launched at in Japan.

With the Wii U version, its around 230 k.So its very likely that it could have sold out on COMG

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
