A lot of people are saying they will hold off and wait for the Switch to get things going. The holidays seem like that is when a lot of games arrive. Here's a list of games for reference:

1. Breath of the Wild

2. Splatoon 2

3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

4. Fire Emblem Warriors

5. Xenoblade 2

6. ARMS

7. Super Mario Odyssey

8. 1-2 (probably at a more convienent price)

9. Snipperclips

10. Loads of indies

11. third party titles like steep, Skyrim, etc.

We'll also see:

1. Improved OS- the 3DS and Wii U had drastic improvements in the span of several months- I'm sure we will see the Switch OS begin to get better. 

2. Potential deals, bundles, special editions, and price cuts- Nintendo had a lot of special editions for the 3DS that included a game. The 2DS was also aggressively priced at 120, and later dropped to only eighty dollars. It even came with Mario Kart 7.

3. Future titles announced- animal crossing, kirby, Dk, etc.- we'll get a better clue on what's to come.

So, would you or would you not?

If it gets a price cut or some good bundles for sure.

Never, like Zelda, but do not like 99% of Nintendo games.

Exactly, a Zelda or Mario Kart bundle for $250 and I'd likely get it. 

I'll wait for more games, and perhaps a revised version without joy-cons.

That's the plan. With my current playing habits Zelda, Mario, and Arms should last me halfway into next year.

It depends on the price. If it never drops like the Wii U, I don't know if I'll get it during the holidays. If there's a deal, and there's some more games announced, then maybe.

Yeah, I'm going to get one around the Holidays if not by Summer.

I plan on buying a Switch at some point after MK8 Deluxe releases. Most likely in May, though.
