Even more troubling is that many of those 0s (and some of the 10s too) appeared pretty much as soon as users could review the game, midnight launch day. Did they even played 1 minute? We know the answer.

Maybe Nintendo sent them review copies, because they knew that they could trust them to get through all the bullshit!

I just prefer finding a critic that has a similar taste as I do and stick with that :p

Metacritic trolls hand out 0s to great games all the time. If getting a 0 qualifies you to be a game of the decade, then you're going to have a couple hundred games of the decade.

I never said that.

You certainly said something very similar. Let's recap with some very lazy quoting.

You: "Zelda is shaping up to be the game of the decade at they can't stand it because it's not on their system."

Rolltide (in direct response to the "game of the decade" bit, bolded in his post): "I think that is pushing it a bit far I am a HUGE zelda fan and I am sure it is a great game but honestly Nintendo gets a lot of generosity with their reviews."

You: "It's not pushing it too far when you consider someone giving THIS game a... zero? There's no other excuse lol."

I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to conclude from this response other than Zelda receiving zeros on Metacritic somehow lends credence to it as the game of the decade.

Just Salty

anyone here remember uncharted 4 users reviews ? in the first week it was around 6.5 ( a lot of 0 ) because console war .... now zelda is the new victim.

In all fairness, the best thing you can do is ignore it. Don't let it bother you. I don't agree with people giving games a 0 if it's clearly not a 0, but you can't say they shouldn't be allowed to do it. It's part of the freedom of speech, and freedom of the internet. I know this may seem a bit overkill, but if you censor those guy, it starts to lead to censoring of other things, which ultimately makes the internet a regulated environment where no one can say what they want. So ultimately my advice is ignore it.

You're suppose to conclude that when a game gets nose bleedingly high scores and praise, jealous fans of other consoles or trolls are going to give it zeros to knock the score down because they're insecure and have issues beyond the game in question being good.

Most of those "reviewers" are just kids who are PS4 fans, butthurt because Horizon got a smaller score on Meta... This is just pathetic...

Has this happened a lot previously with Nintendo games?

I know Xbox and PS exclusives often get attacked by rival fanbases via user scores, but it always seemed Nintendo was too irrelevant to those fanbases to trigger a similar reaction.

Hahaha check this guy out http://www.metacritic.com/user/wghw535utehj

1 review which is Zelda which he gave a 0. The name is wghw535utehj.

How obvious can this be?
