Another thing that amazed me was I was climbing to the top of a mountain, pretty high up and I'm looking for a scene to take a screenshot and boom, all the way in the back, I notice something moving. Lol it was a tallneck, just going on it's usual path. I was so surprised because I was so far away from that part yet it could be seen perfectly. What an amazing game.

A game that came out almost 2 years ago, with a map that absolutely dwarfs that of HZD, is absolutely a better game graphically.  

Not to mention it's true native 4K resolution.  

Artistically, I actually prefer Horizon; but technically, it doesn't hold a candle to The Witcher 3.

lol the irony. you say the screenshots I posted aren't real gameplay yet every screenshot you posted are bullshots from the devs.

I think those shots actually back up CGIs argument. There are obviously things a PC can brute force its way to being better (such as image quality and texture filtering), but those shots look overall inferior to what I've seen in Horizon. The foliage in particularly looks much worse. The only one of those screen i'd say looks better is the last one, but that's pre-downgrade.

Comparing Horizon and TW3 isn't 100% fair, as you mention TW3 has a much larger world (and in general more content), and also release 2 years later, but graphically it looks like a step down to me. Not a huge one, but a step down nonetheless. And yes, i also have a PC that can max it at 4k. At 30 - 60fps anyway

By the way, if you want some directly-from-gameplay screenshots, i'd be happy to provide some in a few hours. They look pretty much identical to the ones in photo-mode, but perhaps having the HUD there will reassure you?

Oh right, and I think God of War is going to be the next game with crazy graphics. God of War III had the most underrated visuals last gen. I still think it looks better than the Last of Us. It was crazy what they did with that game.
