I kinda want to up my prediction to 96 after reading Polygon's review, but we shall see soon enough.

Once you get past 95, it becomes increasingly more challenging to get an extra meta point. So I would say the "soft max" it could get is 97 which is the same as GTA V, Super Mario 1 & 2 and Metroid Prime.

Yeah, past 95 is the point that 9's are damaging you more than 10's benefit you. To get a 98+ your game can't just be incredible, it has to be either very lucky, or be on the favourable end of a small sample sizes

People nowadays write garbage reviews for clicks.

Face it- sometimes an opinion is wrong or unjustified. Remember how uncharted got 4.5 by Washington Post? The review wasn't even good. It was some rant on how uncharted should've stopped after the first game and slapped on a low review.


Here's my law of games- if a huge game gets lower than five, then chances are the reviewer either has a huge bias or simply wants clicks. I'm not even a huge fan of uncharted 4 and know for SURE it is at minimum a 7 5-8.0 game. Just because you dislike a game, you shouldn't just slap on the lowest score possible and nitpick the tiniest of details. Aren't game reviewers supposed to look past their taste?

To get back on topic, no, it won't. We will never see another 97-100 due to gamers being unnecessarily nitpicky this gen.

It will probably be my GOAT. I mean,it's like my gaming wet dream. There's not a single thing I've seen that makes me think otherwise.

I think it will take a hit for graphics and the weapon system. Seems some aren't over the moon about about breakable weapons.

Reading all the previews, I would be absolutely shocked if it didnt get 90+ and not surprised if it did hit 95.

With that said, nope, not going to get 99. That would be crazy, crazy goooooood am I right? :P

I've read and heard some absolute great things. like re-inventing the open world genre from gamestop, best game of all time from metro, best game i've played in 2017 and 2016 and so on...
