It is because Pixar is more miss than hit since Disney bought them out before the release of Toy Story 3. They are driving Marvel from a comics standpoint into the ground. And they threw out so much deep Star Wars cannon to appeal to the masses. Also, they screwed their own Infinity fanbase. I'm not saying it's all bad, but what I am saying is that when Disney gets a hold of something, don't be surprised that it becomes "This isn't your father's [insert] anymore!", but worse. And I was at DisneyWorld for an entire week last year. Biggest piece of commercial bullshit I've ever experienced.
The guy always comes out of retirement to help out with the studio. He'll continue to do so until he is no longer physically able to, good or bad.
