Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy VII Remake main story voice recording almost complete

This is good news :)

Speaking in the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase said that the main story voice recording for the remake (probably in reference to part one, as it will be released as multiple titles) is almost complete.

“A remake of Final Fantasy VII required substantial preparedness,” Kitase told Dengeki PlayStation. “The voice actors have almost finished voice recording of the main story. Fans may have the image of the Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but since this is the ‘prime’ Cloud from before Advent Children, the performance may feel fresh.”

Kitase also touched briefly upon the key visual unveiled last month. “I’ll leave the meaning of the Sephiroth that doesn’t exist in the original (the black wing?) to everyone’s imagination.”

So, does anyone know what this means in the grand scheme of things? I assume that voice acting would be a bit easier for this game because the game is a remake, so the story is already known.

Hard to tell,  there are many ways to progress through development.

Is he referring to JPN va or ENG va or both? I'm assuming just Japanese for now. However, I'm 100% sure they're still far from finished with the first title, unfortunately

It better be at least half as good as the Machinabridged FFVII.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Surely we will get a big E3 presentation this year, they must have a decent amount to show off at this point. or at least something

this tells us a lot actually. In the original game, Sephiroth did not have his Black Wing. They could be adding a lot more content that was never in the original.
