I don't know who saw IGN's April Fool's this year, a mock up trailer for a supposed up and coming Zelda game.  I haven't watched the trailer yet, still waiting for it to load, but i was going to run with the idea.  My first reaction was i don't think you could make a Zelda movie, as i first thought when i heard about LOTR and while i'm still not a big fan of the movies i have to admit that an admiral job was done in transferring the books to the big screen.

My questions are as follows

1. Could they make a Zelda movie? If not why not?

2. Who do you think could direct it?

and 

3. Who can you imagine in the various parts?

AND 

4. How do you imagine the plot?;) 

I would watch it.

I would want Soriku to direct it.

A zelda movie will only be two extremes I reckon, really good as long as Nintendo are involved heavily or just completelye terrible.

If Natalie Portman plays Zelda, and Clive Owen plays link, I'd be all over it.

Michael Caine could play the king, Christian Bale could play Ganon, written by Frank Miller, and directed by Christopher Nolan.

That's a 3 out of 4 star movie my friend, easily, video game or not.
