I just want to run around in a large world, playing with the combat and physics after I complete the main quest.
I do not want them to try and justify the game mode, kinda like Wolf Link.

I need to be given a reason. Just doing for the sake of doing isn't enough for most.

I think they would either have to go all in, or just have it as a small side mode.
Either make a full MMO, or give us the option to ride horses together and have some dumb fun.

If it were to be a mode, I do not want it to be in the same world / save as the actual game.

please no. Zelda is at its best when it is strictly single player. Just look at Tri Force Heroes and Four Swords. They're some of the weakest in the series

I dont see the hate on dlc. Mario Kart dlc was probably the best dlc ever released in gaming. They know what they are doing.

Then there is no reason to make it. Just make open world which BotW is. You can ride horses and have dumb fun.

Yeah, but I want the option to take a person into my world, ride horses with other people; or even just one other person.

Either way, I am going to love Breath of the Wild.

Plenty of MMO's fill that void. If you are going to propose a Zelda MMO you need to think it through more as to why. How. Also why does it need to be Zelda? You have yet to give a reason why it should be Zelda. Just ride horses in big world with other people. Ok? Something you can do in many other games. You can't propose an idea and not give details as to why you think it needs to be set in this world. Why and how.

That's reaching. It was just some tracks and characters. Nothing truly exceptional, just a good first foray for Nintendo

Couple of things. It added 40% more game. That's an expansion pack like old PC games used to so it did DLC correctly. The other thing is this is FAR from Nintendo's first time in DLC. They have been doing DLC since Famicom. Super Famicom had DLC. Mario Paint 64 had DLC.

I didn't say it was bad. But in no way is it the best ever. Far from it.

And fine, first modern DLC. First in many, many years.

LOL. Who cares about the characters, but have you SEEN those tracks? They are absolutely breathtaking. almost all dlc released for all games is not up to the same standard as the rest of the game they are added to. Mario Kart 8's released tracks are, in my opinion, even BETTER than the original tracks (and those were breathtaking in their own right). That whole toy map is probably the single most adorable thing my eyes have witnessed in gaming (until they release, hopefully, a Yoshie's Wooly World track one day).
