Sims franchise definitely needs an alternative, Sims games are very fun to play with, but they could be way better made. Would be actually quite fun to have some kind of remake of Sims 2 or even 3 someday. Well, that day will never come..
The reason i did not consider second life, is I felt in game economy hinders thing, and compare to more Playstation Home.
I still think this concept wouldn't be impossible to do, but would have to be focused on what made Sims great and not how to necessarily make Sims more open or massive.
