Damn game looks beautiful holy shit.

Give me MAH OPTIONS! MAH OPTIONS MATTER! I NEED THEM! NO, I DON'T CARE THAT I HAVE THE OPTION TO NOT SUPPORT THIS GAME! IT'S MAH OPTION! I NEED IT! I WANT IT! I WILL WHINE AND BITCH INCESSANTLY ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THE OPTION OF OTHER PEOPLE TO NOT CARE ABOUT MY OPINION!

No, the Caps key did not get stuck. It's literally all I ever get to read off the PC crowd on so many places, 9Gag included and fully supported as such.
Children obsessed with their sliders...I can't understand it.

Anyone who thinks Jaguar CPU @ 1.6 GHz is capable of 60 fps gameplay in game of this scope shouldn't be taken seriously, even worse if it's a PC gamer, he/she should know better.

Can't wait until March 1st.

I stole your DP,have some business with it later tonight.

OT

Game looks great.I only hope gameplay lives up to the graphics.

I know there's probably no hope for KB+M support, but does anyone know if this game will support gyro aiming? If my experience with TLOU taught me one thing it's that gamepad aiming does not agree with me. Especially at 30fps.

They have plenty balls to say screw you fps warriors, we're going to realize our vision by coding to the metal on one specific hardware platform to get the most out of our amazing team of people. We won't compromise our artistic vision by letting some arbitary number get in the way!

I guess PC developers are just morons with no artistic vision then. Gotcha.

No they're definitely not. They say screw you, figure out yourself how to get our game running acceptably. Hence my 2 year old laptop has no chance to run their artistic vision at anything remotely playable. 30fps is a dream after driving around on Elite Dangerous' planets at 10fps.

At least with consoles the game are made for your hardware, with PC they're made for whatever hardware the devs were working on. Match it, or exceed it, or gtfo :) (Some do scale down, but eh does don't have much of an artistic vision :p)

Looking very nice, and the climbing kind of reminds me of Uncharted

Such a beautiful game. If only it wasn't forced to be a slideshow.

I think I want to get a Pro this spring, frame rate issues are really ruining my 8th gen experience. This is one of the biggest problems with gaming mostly on PC, you get spoiled on the tech after a while. 30 fps in 2017 is unacceptable to me, especially at such low resolutions.

I don't understand how it bothers people so much, to be honest. I'm playing OoT at 20FPS and it's not even really noticeable to me.

Stay away from Horizon threads on GAF. Someone has the game and is posting in the Horizon spoiler thread. Unfortunately there are people who are now posting that information in other threads too because 'it's not spoilery to them'. Yep, there are dozens of selfish bastards on GAF.

Habbit and preference, if you're used to 60-70 fps, you really notice massive drops or overall slow frame rates. Much the same way going back to watching VHS movies is a pain today, it becomes the same with games. Older games are a different thing; they have less effects, lower resolutions and more jagged visuals all round, it's not jarring in the same way, but for modern games with HD resolutions or higher, it becomes really noticeable. I don't mind playing older games with low fps, my all time favorite game plays with very low fps since it's from 1993 but it's different in almost every single way.

With my new TV, frame rate drops are more noticeable than ever on PS games. I understand that people probably won't be bothered if it's what they're used to though. It's like when my friend bought his Voodoo 2 graphics card and we were watching a rendering demo and were completely blown away by the quality of the graphics. Needless to say; those graphics look like shit today, but if we stuck with them, we wouldn't mind if they still looked the same.

I guess this issue is more prevalent among PC gamers since a lot of us are spoiled when it comes to the technical side of gaming. Like I said; I understand how some aren't bothered, but for me and others like me, it's really disturbing and becomes a hang-up when you play, kind of like a poor script in a movie with great visual effects, it steals the attention from the good bits.
