Forums - Gaming - Entry price comparison: Switch vs. PlayStation 4 vs. Xbox One

You're on a killing spree lately. And add special feature ''You get women'' to Switch.

You forget to add mobile phone somewhere in the switch section

You would also probably need a car to get your PS4 or Xbox home, whereas the Switch can be stuffed into your pocket for your walk home, and the dock can be given to a homeless guy.

(sorry about the double post)

(extra sorry about the triple post)

This should put the discussions about whether or not Switch is expensive to rest once and for all.

Not really since TV sets are sunk costs so home console manufacturer's can already depend on the market to subsidize those costs for them ...

Out of the 1.6 billion display panels out there, it doesn't seem to hurt market penetration of home consoles and those that can't afford display panels have other things to worry about than video games ...

Tagging, already know this is going to be a good thread

*rolls eyes* still up to your old tricks I see.

Are people actually taking this thread seriously? There's no way Rol is being serious here, this is a joke thread.

Anyways, $299 isn't bad for a home console, in fact its quite in line historically. We'll just have to wait and see how sales hold up to see if people agree with their wallets.

You're doing it wrong.
PS4 uses about 90-150 watts, XBox One 70-120, Switch likely 4-8 watts. So for the average gamer playing 10,000 hours a year (at 18 cents per kW) that's $216 a year for PS4, $171 for XBox One, $10.80 for the Switch per year.
Add the power to run a tv as well and you'll be living on the street in no time if you don't get a Switch.
