The Zora evolved to be birds as the Rito makes no sense but that's what happened.

If BOTW would take place after WW, there wouldn't be both Zoras and Ritos. But they're both in it.

I am just asaying  Eiji Aonuma himself said the Rito are the Zora from Oot evolved into birds. The biggest giveaway of this is Medli has the same bloodline as the Earth sage which is Laruto. We have seen bird people in BoTw but does not confirm they are one in the same. IN fact they look quite different. Sure different art styles but the Zora look pretty mucfh the same in design. 

They were confirmed to be Ritos in this month's Famitsu. 

Ah ok but still the Rito in WW evolved from the Zora. No way to dispute that.

I like this guys theory on the timeline and explains that certain races may not matter so much to place them.

Tbh back then they were also denying the was a timeline so I don't think you can really take what he said a while back as concrete now.

Erm what Wind Waker even then was a direct sequel to OoT. It directly references OoT in story settings sages even mentioning Hero of Time. So no I will take him at his word. Rito in WW are the Zora. You literally cannot dispute it. They did not deny there was a timeline they said they never really thought much how it was split and such. When OoT came out they did say it took place the earliest in the series so they akknowledged it even then but back then didn't think much on how to flesh it out like a split timeline.

Yeah and? Nintendo for decades flat out said the was no timeline until SS, that's not even debatable, it's clear we have to take anything said before SS with a grain of salt.

But they did akknowledge it back with OoT so you are wrong. I will believe Aonuma said about WW over you any day.
